D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event is scheduled to take place from August 9th to August 11th. This event is expected to reveal some major news about Disney parks, experiences, movies, streaming, and more.
Recently, it was announced that a significant panel at D23 called Disney Horizons will be showcasing Disney Experiences. This means we can expect to hear about updates on Disney parks and experiences, including news about hotels and theme parks. What’s even more exciting is that Disney revealed that you can stream the Disney Horizons panel in Fortnite on August 10th at 8:30PM PT, 11:30PM ET.
Yes, you read that correctly! The showcase will be streaming exclusively in Fortnite, and you can participate by using the island code 7908-6413-2516 in the game. Keep in mind that the stream will start after the showcase concludes at the Honda Center. The doors will open at 10:30PM ET, and the stream will kick off at 11:30PM ET.
Disney’s partnership with Fortnite is expected to bring a whole new world of games and entertainment to the Epic Games platform, featuring beloved characters from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, Avatar, and more. Bob Iger highlighted the significance of this partnership by emphasizing the importance of gaming for Gen Alpha, Gen Z, and millennials.
Iger mentioned, “Our new relationship with Epic Games will create a universe that integrates Disney’s storytelling into the Fortnite game.” This means that players will have the opportunity to shop, watch, and play within this new universe.
